Suunto Trail School day kicks off a year of learning
The first event on the 2016 Run. Coed y Brenin Trail School roster was received with great enthusiasm yesterday as delegates at the Suunto Trail School took part in classroom workshops, practical activities on the trail and rounded it off with a 5km run on the Coed y Brenin forest trails.
Delivered by Run. Coed y Brenin owner Matt Ward, Mentrau Bach’s GPS and navigation expert Ashley Charlwood and Suunto UK territory manager for the North, Adam Rose, the day covered tech tips on the Suunto Ambit 3 range of products, schooling on the Movescount website and App, and general insight into the world of GPS and the running market.
Feedback for the day was highly positive:

I recommend anyone who runs to get down to Run @ Coed y Brenin visit the shop for superb expert advice, products and enjoy a trail run whilst your there.” – Richard Williams

Matt Ward comments:
” It was a great start to what we hope will be successful addition to the offering for trail runners here. We now have the Trail School which will this year deliver education and inspiration on navigation, ultra running and introductions to trail running, for all standards. This adds to the shop, trails and events that we already offer, so once again 2016 is looking like a great year for trail running at Coed y Brenin”.
