Run Shop Run goes live!
After over 2 years of trading at their Coed y Brenin home, Run. Coed y Brenin have today launched their online offering in the form of new online shop Run Shop Run.
“We don’t expect to take the online world by storm!”, explains owner Matt Ward. “But we have some very good customers around the UK who like to shop with us, and can’t make it over to our shop in Wales that often. So for them it’s ideal.
“Additionally, we feel that what we do online and how we present the brands, the products and portray our authentic, passionate, ‘in-the-sport’ knowledge to runners will be attractive.
“Of course there will be some great deals to be had as we develop, but initially the RSR site is an extension and shop window of what we do at the Run. Coed y Brenin store.
The Run Shop Run website has been developed over the last few months by north Wales-based design agency thirtytwotrees and much of the population and day-to-day management of the site will be done by Run. Coed y Brenin staff member Chris Boughay.
Matt continues. “Run Shop Run is a reflection of what we have in the shop at the moment, but we are investing into the online side in 2017 and expect to develop the online offering in terms of new products and new brands as the year goes on.
“We are excited to be now adding the online side to all of what Run Coed y Brenin offers to runners. We can’t ignore the fact that online is becoming an ever-more important aspect of retailing and we really feel that this will make our business stronger in the long-term. Today is a small step towards us becoming on online retailer too, and who knows where it will take us over the coming year!”
