Beat the price rise at Salomon Trail Marathon Wales
With just two weeks to go until entries open for the 2018 Salomon Trail Marathon Wales race on the 1st of September, we hope you’re getting excited and pencilling in the date of 16th of June, 2018 for one of your A race goals next year.
Inevitably for us at Run Coed y Brenin the cost of putting on events has risen in the last 3 years. Paper cups, nutrition, bananas, barrier and toilet hire to name just a few of our services which have seen prices increase in that time – plus we now donate almost £3000 a year to our partner charities and organisations. The entry fee of the half and full marathon has remained stable since 2015, so as we can’t fight price rises we are having to increase the entry fee by £2 for next year’s event. Even with this increase, and when compared to many other trail events across the UK, the Salomon Trail Marathon Wales race still represents great value for money!
But, there is good news. As entries go live on Sept 1st we have an ‘early bird window’ until the 1st of December (2 months) at 2017 prices. So, at £26 and £36 respectively plus NRW and booking fee, you can get your place secured and start to plan for one of the UK’s best trail events in 2018!
